Estrada Branca

When acclaimed Hong Kong dancer-choreographer Abby Chan and Brazilian dancer-choreographer Otávio Bastos first met in New York, they were both delighted by how much they understood each other’s body language. The encounter sparked a productive artist-in-residence scheme spanning New York – São Paulo – Hong Kong. The result is “When Mr Bastos Meets Ms Chan”, a celebration of bodies, movement and body language, expressing the truths of two very different cultures.
